Consider Cloning?

Cloning could help us save a lot of lifes. Yeah, it will cost a bunch of money to research such a subject as cloning. Clonings main issue that uprises in the media is the question, “Is it etchial?” Many people see cloning as “playing God,” and that we will have consequences, if we mess with the reproduction of human DNA.
The main reason we don’t pursue in human Reproductive cloning research is due to the fact that we havn’t sucessively cloned a animal yet that is 100 percent cloned correctly. Most of the animals died at an early age, because of health problems. Many of the animals that were cloned in labs, died due to a disease. Since we havn’t cloned a animal sucessively yet, we are afraid that human clones will react in the same way.
The main type of cloning that people are fighting to legalize is Therapeutic cloning. With Therapeutic cloning, you can clone particular organs for transplant. This would help a great deal of people out in the long run. The process of Therapeutic cloning involves taking adult cells for donor, then creating an embryo. When the embryo is developed, scientist harvest the stem-cells. The stem-cells are used to reproduce the organ that is needed for transplant. After the stem-cells are harvested, the embryo then dies, which rises many ethical questions.

Therapeutic Cloning

Tell me what would you do if you needed to replace an organ, but you have a rare blood type and can't find a organ donor? Therapeutic cloning could be a possible solution to save your life. Banning all types of cloning would just be completely ignorant in the long run. Stem-cell cloning is the future for helping patents heal, and get what is needed for them to go on, and enjoy their life. Through out the process of therapeutic cloning, the embryo is destroyed. Some people think since the embryo is killed that it's somewhat like murdering a human baby, but the embryo is not actually alive till a certain stage. Many people the need the help now. For some it's too late already.

Racism Subsiding

Today racism is still very intense. I don't believe that racism is subsiding at all. I have heard immature racial comments about our new leader, president Obama, that show me how racist our society still is.
There are racial groups even on the internet. How far has racism gone? That people now make racial blogs to have them seen public. They have been given their rights, but what if they are misused? The criminal justice system even has been seen discriminating against young African-American males, just by the false assumption of the way they appear to the society. People tend to judge by instinct, or accuse falsely, not giving oneself a chance to actually know. You can find racial profiling that is recent all over the internet, even on Television shown as a comedy.
Comparing to way back in the 50's, I believe racism has actually increased in the U.S., than subsided.
It is not as bad as it is in some places, such as states, or certain areas in a city. Mostly everyone has seen some kind of a act of racism locally. Statistics show that there is a show rising increase in racial profiling in today's economy. There is no doubt, that racism is not dying out at all.
