Most of the animals died at an early age, because of health problems. Many of the animals that were cloned in labs, died due to a disease. Since we havn’t cloned a animal sucessively yet, we are afraid that human clones will react in the same way.
The main type of cloning that people are fighting to legalize is Therapeutic cloning. With Therapeutic cloning, you can clone particular organs for transplant. This would help a great deal of people out in the long run. The process of Therapeutic cloning involves taking adult cells for donor, then creating an embryo. When the embryo is developed, scientist harvest the stem-cells. The stem-cells are used to reproduce the organ that is needed for transplant. After the stem-cells are harvested, the embryo then dies, which rises many ethical questions.
